Wednesday Night Circles

Wednesday Circles are all about engagement. This is to welcome people into the family of God. Around these circles, we want to make it easy to follow God and connect with his people. This is the widest net and biggest front door we have available to help you connect with FBC Midlothian. After someone has been attending on Sunday mornings and has decided to take their next step, this is the best place to go. For many people, before you can join a group, you need to meet people and begin developing connections. The purpose of Circles is not simply to be another program of our church; it is to create relational spaces where attachment to God and other believers can take place. This is the first and easiest place to be Connected In.

What should I expect at Wednesday Circles?

On Wednesday nights in the Family Room, we will have round tables with 6-8 people. We will teach through a book of the Bible and discuss those truths around our tables to contextualize and apply them to our lives. Because each table will be able to have discussion independently from other groups, people from all life stages are encouraged to come to the same room at the same time. This allows people to be introduced to the church as a whole and not one life stage exclusively.

How are the Circles Formed?

Each Circle leader is expected to fill their table with people from their circle of influence. This could be groups such as couples, men, single moms, widows, young adults, people from your neighborhood, or work; the possibilities are endless. This invite model keeps groups from being different people each week, making connections difficult. We want people to know they have a seat that someone is saving just for them, and we want this to be an easy place to invite people from your circles to connect with our church.
